Home of the Sentinelese, an unconnected indigenous tribe. An island, in the Bay of Bengal in the Indian Ocean.
Google Maps user said it is now ‘the perfect vacation spot’. But is it so?
A Google map user joked that a remote island inhabited by reclusive tribe is ‘the perfect vacation spot’ after the site suggested there is a Walmart and beach bar there. The tribespeople made headlines in 2018 when they killed an American missionary who was trying to convert them to Christianity.
Now according to Google Maps the remote island features a branch of supermarket chain Walmart and as well as a beach bar.
Many Reddit users were asking if ‘angry tribespeople’ were included in the ‘perfect vacation spot’, while another quipped: ‘Definitely no cannibals around.’
We were curious and did found the photo of Walmart at our Google Map search too!
