SG Influencer Food Wastage Video Sparks Discussion amongst Singapore Foodies

A video showing alleged food wastage at a food tasting event has sparked discussion among Singapore foodies and content creators.

The video, shared by content creator Orhceh, appeared to show attendees at a free-flow pizza event eating the toppings from multiple slices of pizza while leaving stacks of pizza crust behind.

What Happened at the Food Event?

After seeing the video circulating online, we reached out to Orhceh to better understand what happened.

According to him, the issue was not simply that some food had been left unfinished. He claimed that the attendees were repeatedly taking more pizzas, eating only the toppings, and leaving the remaining crusts behind.

He felt that attendees who needed to photograph or taste different pizzas could have done so without repeatedly taking additional food and wasting the rest.

At the same time, it is important to acknowledge that a short video may not always show the full context of a situation. There could be dietary restrictions, allergies, or other circumstances that viewers are unaware of.

A Discussion About Food Wastage, Not Witch-Hunting

Orhceh also emphasised that his intention was not to identify or publicly shame the individuals involved. The faces of those shown in the original video were blurred.

Instead, the incident raises a broader question about food wastage, especially at media tastings, buffets, and free-flow food events.

Content creators naturally need to photograph, film, and taste different dishes as part of their work. But where should we draw the line between doing our jobs and unnecessarily wasting food?

Watch our video above for the full story and let us know what you think.

Is this simply part of attending a food tasting event, or should content creators be more responsible about the amount of food they take?

And on a completely unrelated note, we still want to know what camera Orhceh was using. That zoom was seriously impressive.

Pizza Hut Singapore Brings Back Cheesy 7 With 5 Flavours From $13.95

Cheese lovers, this one’s for you. Pizza Hut Singapore is bringing back its popular Cheesy 7 pizza from 9 July 2026, and this time, there are five different flavours to choose from.

Available for a limited time only, the returning Cheesy 7 range features Pizza Hut’s signature blend of seven cheeses, along with new flavour combinations including Hawaiian, Truffle Shroom N Chicken Bacon and Beef Pepperoni.

To celebrate its return, Pizza Hut Singapore is also launching a limited-time promotion where diners can enjoy a Regular Cheesy 7 pizza from S$13.95.

Pizza Hut’s Cheesy 7 Is Back In Singapore

If you’ve never tried the Cheesy 7 before, the pizza is made with a blend of seven different cheeses: Cheddar, Cream Cheese, Edam, Monterey Jack, Mozzarella, Parmesan and Provolone.

Yes, that is a lot of cheese.

The combination gives the pizza its signature cheesy stretch and rich flavour, along with a cheesy crunch that goes all the way to the edge of the crust.

This time around, Pizza Hut Singapore is giving diners more choices with five different Cheesy 7 flavours.

Choose From 5 Cheesy 7 Pizza Flavours

The returning Cheesy 7 range will be available in the following flavours:

    Cheesy 7 Original

For those who just want as much cheese as possible, the Original features the signature seven-cheese blend on an Alfredo base, topped with crispy fried garlic and parsley.

    Cheesy 7 Hawaiian

Fans of the classic sweet and savoury combination can go for the Hawaiian version, which combines one of Pizza Hut’s best-selling flavours with the Cheesy 7 cheese blend.

    Cheesy 7 Cheesy Spinach

Looking for something creamy but slightly more balanced? The Cheesy Spinach version pairs the rich cheese blend with soft leafy spinach.

Cheesy 7 Truffle Shroom N Chicken Bacon

Probably the one to look out for if you prefer richer flavours. This pizza combines truffle notes, mushrooms, chicken and smoky bacon with the signature seven-cheese blend.

    Cheesy 7 Beef Pepperoni

You can’t really go wrong with pepperoni and cheese. This version comes topped with smoky beef pepperoni for a bolder and more savoury bite.

    There’s Also A S$7.50 Cheesy 7 Hut’s Slider

Don’t feel like eating an entire pizza?

Pizza Hut Singapore is also introducing the Cheesy 7 Original Hut’s Sliders at S$7.50.

First introduced earlier this year, Hut’s Sliders are made with a sourdough-flatbread fusion and are designed as a smaller option for sharing or enjoying as a quick meal.

The new version brings the signature seven-cheese blend to the Hut’s Sliders format, making it another option for those who want to try Cheesy 7 without ordering a full pizza.

Enjoy Cheesy 7 Pizzas From S$13.95

Here’s probably the most important part: the promotions.

From 9 to 26 July 2026, diners can enjoy any Cheesy 7 pizza from S$13.95 for a Regular or S$19.95 for a Large.

The promotion will be available for dine-in, takeaway and delivery.

Pizza Hut Singapore will also be offering 50% off two Regular or Large pizzas when customers order one Cheesy 7 variant together with one Fan-Favourite pizza for takeaway or delivery.

For larger groups, delivery bundles start from S$7.69 per person, while dine-in Hut Savers deals start from S$11.98 per person.

When Will Pizza Hut Cheesy 7 Be Available In Singapore?

Pizza Hut Singapore’s Cheesy 7 range will be available islandwide from 9 July 2026 for a limited time only.

With five flavours to choose from, the returning range gives fans more options beyond the classic Cheesy 7 Original.

Personally, the Truffle Shroom N Chicken Bacon sounds like the flavour we’d check out first, especially if you prefer something richer and more savoury.

But if you’re the type who believes there’s no such thing as too much cheese, the Original is probably still the way to go.

  • $2 Beef Is Back as Beef & Beyond Boss Celebrates Birth of Baby

$2 Beef Is Back as Beef & Beyond Boss Celebrates Birth of Baby

Beef lovers, here’s something you might want to take note of the popular $2 beef promotion (by Beef and Beyond) is making a comeback!

Boss William is bringing back the promotion to celebrate the birth of his baby in June, offering customers beef for just $2 per portion.

According to the video, each portion of beef costs around $7, which means the owner will actually be selling the dish at a loss.

The promotion will be limited to 200 sets on the first day, with each customer allowed to purchase up to two portions.

If 400 portions are sold each day over two days, that would mean a total of 800 portions of beef sold during the promotion.

At just $2 per portion, the promotion would generate $1,600 in sales. However, based on the estimated $7 cost per portion mentioned in the video, the stall owner could potentially be absorbing around $4,000 in losses.

It’s certainly an unusual way to celebrate the arrival of a new family member — but great news for beef lovers looking for a good deal.

    The $2 beef is back!
